Coordinate activities between various college departments and partners involved in Earn and Learn programs with an emphasis on recruiting and retaining underserved populations.Description of Duties and TasksEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates, implements, and facilitates various earn and learn grants, including tracking deliverables, documenting grant requirements, and generating statistical reports.
  • Coordinates meetings and communication among subject matter experts, instructors, and college partners.
  • Plans and coordinates events and projects.
  • Creates and designs brochures, applications, uses website resources, and any other marketing materials related to projects to promote the department in career fairs, educational events, and industry events.
  • Performs several duties including correspondence, orders supplies and equipment, maintains files, compiles and records students' information, and other tracking systems.
  • Gathers and compiles data for various statistical surveys and reports such as grant program deliverables and student tracking.
  • Assists in the development of final reports.
  • Confers with stakeholders about developing ideas and materials for student recruitment.
  • Contributes ideas on expanding subsequent grants and increasing student participation in the program.
  • May oversee the work flow of hourly employees.

  • Two years related work experience.

    Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel in the Austin area as required.Physical Requirements

    Work is performed in a standard office environment. Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Safety

  • ACC Benefits OverviewFull-time Faculty and Staffing Table employees who work in full-time and/or part-time positions at the College are eligible for ACC medical benefits effective the first of the month after their first 60 days of employment. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, short and long term disability, retirement plans and AD&D.

    ACC does not participate in Social Security. ACC participates in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) and the Optional Retirement Program (ORP-Faculty Only). Part-time and Hourly employees participate in the ACC Money Purchase Plan (ACCMPP) as a retirement program required by Federal law.
