Job Details
Provide customer service and basic computer hardware and software support services to lab users of the Technology Learning Center (TLC). Support services include but are not limited to: Troubleshooting Microsoft Office and Internet browser issues/questions to the best of your ability;
Helping students navigating college web services (aacc.edu, MyAACC, and Canvas);
Lab monitoring and tracking of usage numbers;
Submitting work orders for hardware/software issues to Help Desk;
Referral duties to other college services.
Note that this job is not a benefited position and is not affiliated with the Information Services department. Technical experience is limited to the areas listed above.
Must have a basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; people skills, be comfortable performing conflict resolution, and student outreach.
A willingness and ability to work at the Arundel Mills location after the Fall 2019 semester (i.e., beginning in January, 2020) as needed.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
