Job Description:

Description of Department: The Computer Science Department currently offers Bachelor degree programs in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering and Cognitive Science, as well as Master's programs in Human Computer Interaction and Biomedical Health Informatics. The 18 faculty in the programs have a commitment to excellent teaching and mentorship, working closely with approximately 400 students within the department, as well as supporting an ABET-accredited program in Software Engineering.

Description of Responsibilities: The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will teach courses on information systems and applications, and related areas, will conduct relevant related research, and will promote students' ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community. Responsibilities also include student advisement and recruitment, working with industry to arrange projects and internships, and working with faculty in other departments who participate in the interdisciplinary program.
