General Summary The Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive leadership programs for the general student population including student-delivered conferences, retreats, experiential trips, and seminars, as well as consulting with individuals and groups interested in leadership; advocating for leadership development at ISU; serving as institutional contact for LeaderShape® Institute, serving as a staff mentor for the Leadership and Service themed community.

Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree.

2. Two years of full-time administrative/program experience with students in a higher education environment.
*Note: Master's degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for this work experience.

Desired Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in higher education administration, college student personnel administration, counseling, business administration, or a related field.

2. Experience with student leadership development in a higher education environment.
