Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary: The Assistant Director, Student Account Services directs the daily operations of a specific area within Student Account Services.

Additional Department Summary: This position oversees procedures designed to ensure the fiscal integrity of departmental operations. Its main purpose is to ensure that funds are properly accounted for in accordance with University policies and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five years of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of Ellucian Banner including Banner Student, Banner Finance, and Banner A/R modules as they relate to student accounts. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to make decisions based on careful analysis and thoughtful judgment. Also required are computer skills, not limited to spreadsheet applications, personal computing networks and internet software. Must have the ability to work effectively under stress and high levels of activity. Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications: Prefer fund accounting course work at the college level. Prefer experience at an Institution of Higher Education with more than 10,000 students, experience with Ellucian Banner, and some experience working with and serving customers.
