Provides support for the Biology teaching faculty on the Liberty Campus; sets up and takes down lab stations; prepares media, solutions, and reagents as needed following defined protocols; cleans lab glassware; organizes and maintains the cleanliness of the lab and prep rooms; adapts to the fluctuation in assigned tasks on a weekly basis throughout the semester.

Shift Specifics: 10 hours per week; flexible with class schedule.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Minimum Education Required

Successful completion of BIOL 1107 (Principles of Biology I) with a grade of “C” or better; must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
