Supports the Department of Computer Science on the Armstrong Campus by tutoring students needing assistance with database design, ER diagrams, SQL, and general programming, Java and Python; proctors tests on both campuses of Statesboro and Armstrong; prepares Computer Science undergraduate students to participate in undergraduate research.

Shift Specifics: 10 – 20 hours per week; flexible with class schedule.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Minimum Education Required

Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Experience

Experience with database design, ER diagrams, SQL, and general programming, Java and Python.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
