IT Service and Delivery. The IT Business Owner serves as the primary IT point of contact for divisions within the University providing strategic and operational planning as well as project management and works with senior leadership in the assigned division to create strategic roadmaps that deliver innovative technology solutions to grow the business. In addition, the IT Business Owner is accountable for identifying process improvements, reporting on Service Level Agreements for his/her assigned division and managing project portfolios for assigned division.

Essential Functions

•Serves as central point of engagement for assigned divisions allowing for better communication within higher levels of administration.
•Builds and maintains relationships with all business units within divisions to translate business drivers into IT strategy.
•Develops the divisions’ (business units) IT strategy into a roadmap that aligns with university strategic plan (pillars).
•Ensures collaboration between business units for IT projects occurs when needed.
•Serves as the single point of approval specific to the PMO project intake process.
•Partners with PMO to manage the project portfolio for division.
•Represents assigned division (as needed) on governance committees.
•Partners with Service Operations to deliver Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to assigned divisions and track metrics for tickets to ensure SLAs are met.
•Identifies and champions process improvements and collaborates with IT Business Analysts team to propose a solution.
•Possesses an understanding of enterprise applications used by division.
•Analyses and assists in resolving operational tickets that are submitted by customer when needed.
•Conducts quarterly business review with leadership within the division to review IT service and projects.
