Job Details
ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking Self-Help students to serve as Undergraduate Laboratory Assistants for preparation of materials used in BIOL 2111 and BIOL 3221 teaching labs. Lab assistants are responsible for the preparation of microbiological media, reagents, and for maintaining and cleaning the three teaching laboratories. Successful candidates must be able to follow safety rules and protocols, work independently, be detail-oriented, and have availability during the day in at least two hour blocks. The student must also be available to work at least 8-10hrs a week around class schedule.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)Preferred Biology, Clinical Lab Science, Health Sciences, or Pre-Med/Pre-Dental students.
