FSU's Equal Opportunity Statement can be viewed at: Responsible for designing and instructing strength and conditioning programs for assigned FSU intercollegiate athletic team(s). Creates individual instruction on proper exercise techniques and safe and proper use of equipment for student athletes. Instructs athletes on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. Administers testing protocols and evaluates results.

Supervise activities and instruct athletes in the proper usage of strength and weight training equipment. Assists with the management of departmental strength training facilities.

Plans and implements diversified strength and conditioning programs based on determined needs, time, and facility limitations. Oversee schedule and development of volunteer coaches.

Assists with on campus recruiting of student-athlete prospects.

Assists with property inventory, purchase of equipment, preparing portions of budget, and selection and order of apparel.Qualifications Masters degree and one year of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience are required.

Requires CSCS certification through NSCA and/or SCCC certification through CSCCa.

CPR and First Aid certification through Red Cross.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend hours.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Schedule Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends if neededCriminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
