Works with other ITS Leaders, campus partners, and other stakeholders in effectively expanding the use and efficacy of Salesforce and other engagement technologies. Provides management directions by setting short and long-range goals, establishing priorities and monitoring the on-going work of the unit.

Provides management and administrative direction to a team that is responsible for the enterprise-wide implementation, expansion, and stability of CRM and other engagement technologies.

Provides management structure by setting short and long-range goals; establishing priorities; and guiding, monitoring, and evaluating the ongoing work of the University's CRM and constituent engagement applications. Team functions include Salesforce Solutions, Marketing & Messaging Solutions, Platform Architecture, and Event Management.

Establishes and maintains strong campus partnerships and stakeholder relationships to support the strategic growth and value of campus engagement capabilities. Advises other units internal and external to ITS on technical implementation of tools and systems that support the University business needs within the Salesforce Implementation as well as implementations of other engagement platforms.

Provides leadership and direction in policy development and implementation that affect the design, development, configuration and quality assurance testing of solutions within the CRM and engagement platforms.

Conducts research on new products, tools and techniques necessary to support the university's business needs.

Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.Qualifications Master's degree and five years of experience related to technology services or a Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience. Two years of experience must be in a supervisory role.

At least two years’ experience in implementing or leading the service delivery of a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Strong understanding of the solution designs, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, and development roles required to support a CRM ecosystem.

Proven track record of leading teams, building relationships, developing high quality staff, and expanding robust enterprise services.

Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.

Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others, and motivate others to transfer vision into action.

Solid leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups as well as outside vendors.

Knowledge of principles and practices of IT Project Management and ITIL.

Excellent communication in a variety of methods to keep the stakeholders well informed.

Excellent user service experience including presentation and training skills.Preferred Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and App Exchange ecosystem. Ideal candidate will have experience in Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, and the Force.com platform.

Experience with Agile software development methodologies

Experience with integrating CRM platforms within a complex application ecosystem
