Position Summary

Arts and Science is seeking an experienced Director, Global Programs to join the Liberal Studies(LS) team. This individual will advise the Dean on global policies and initiatives. Collaborate with LS Leadership on annual and long-term planning of department objectives. Design and direct the recruitment, admission, registration and operational processes for study abroad programs under the Liberal Studies Program. Create and modify abroad budgets. Develop and deliver innovative, dynamic student services, seminars, and workshops. Oversee travel abroad arrangements for LS staff members. Work with LS Academic Affairs on policies and provide support services for LS faculty teaching at abroad sites. Support fund raising outreach programs aimed at international Profiles.

Qualifications

Required Education:Master's DegreePreferred Education:Master's Degree in Student Advisement or related field, or in an appropriate academic area.Required Experience:5+ years progressively responsible experience in educational program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with academic programs outside of United States. Must include experience in recruitment, admissions and providing students services.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to lead an educational program with multiple locations. Ability to market programs successfully. Ability to plan and deliver special events, trainings and seminars. Superior communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills, particularly on an international scope. Knowledge of budget development. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database software. Comfort traveling independently. Valid passport.
