Facility Services Technician

Job description

Job Summary

The person in this position performs specialized cleaning of campus facilities, assists with inventory, performs set-ups and minor clean-ups of events, and performs routine inspections of campus buildings and/or grounds.


  • Routine cleaning of windows, pressure washing, stripping and waxing floors, spot clean carpet Assists with and organizes inventory of consumables at each campus. Sets up facilities for scheduled events and coordinates clean-up. Meets with clients to discuss facilities rental needs This role is designed by the institution as a Position of Trust Performs related duties

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1 -2 years of related expereince
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated

Proposed Salary

$24,000 annually

  • Knowledge of the tools, equipment and methodology of building custodial maintenance Knowledge computers and job-related software programs Skill in the provision of customer services Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions Skill in oral and written communication Some computer skills required
