The Department of Kinesiology & Health Sciences at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Human, Community, Biomolecular, or International Nutrition. The successful candidate will support development of the Department’s new undergraduate major concentration in Nutrition, which will complement existing curricular concentrations in Public Health, Allied Health, and Pre-Medical Studies. Teaching expectation is two courses per semester. The applicant is expected to establish and maintain an independent research program that inspires a highly motivated undergraduate student body. In addition, the applicant will advise and mentor students.
We are interested in individuals with research and teaching expertise in all areas of Human, Community, Biomolecular, or International Nutrition. The successful applicant will possess the skills to teach a range of introductory courses in Nutrition, as well as in her/his area of specialty.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in an area of Nutrition or a related field at the time of appointment (August 10, 2020).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate research is preferred.
