Seeking a creative, hard-working, and motivated teacher, counselor, or tutor with experience working with elementary-aged students for a federally funded U. S. Department of Education grant. Temporary part-time position (10-15 hrs/week) for August of 2019 through December of 2019, with the opportunity to continue in the Spring of 2020. Responsibilities include: teaching social problem-solving lessons to small groups of children, maintaining a behavior management program during lessons, and participating in set-up and breakdown of materials for lessons. Experience with teaching or counseling children is required. Candidates must be available at least three afternoons per week. Preference will be given to candidates who are certified to teach elementary school or licensed in Educational, Counseling, or School Psychology. Master’s degree in Psychology, Education or a related field is a plus, although we will also consider applications for those seeking a Master’s degree.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
