Position Summary:

This position provides a critical interface with the patient and client care delivery system at University Health Services (UHS) and includes reception duties, appointment scheduling, program support, and telecommunication operations for Mental Health Services (MHS). The position carries out complex duties including appointment scheduling in an integrated health clinic. Critical thinking, decision-making and independent planning abilities are essential. Strong phone and active listening skills are required to address provider and client inquiries. This position maintains a high-degree of confidentiality regarding all written and oral interactions and is expected to exercise good judgment. This position also demonstrates inclusivity and works well with students and colleagues who hold identities across a spectrum of cultural difference.

Work Schedule:

Hours will be assigned within operating hours, and may be similar to

7:45 AM to 4:15 PM Monday-Friday with 30 minute lunch. *Evening hours until 7:15 PM up to 2 days per week*

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday with 30 minute lunch. *Evening hours until 7:15 PM up to 2 days per week*

Schedules are flexed based on staffing needs. Part-time employment may be considered.

In achievement and prestige, the University of Wisconsin–Madison has long been recognized as one of America's great universities.
