The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder is conducting an open search for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in areas including but not limited to signal processing, communications, power electronics, integrated circuit design, computer engineering and hybrid integration. These positions are part of the long-term growth plans for the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), and we are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community, as well as to its diversity. The positions are open at all levels, with emphasis on applicants at the Assistant Professor level.

Candidates will be expected to engage in undergraduate and graduate teaching, contribute professional service, and develop vigorous, externally funded research programs in their technical areas. Candidates whose expertise cuts across electrical and computer engineering disciplines are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should describe their plans to develop a recognized research program based on scholarly work in their particular field, their ideas for interdisciplinary collaboration, their experience and interests in teaching undergraduates and graduates, and their future plans for inspiring diverse students to conduct research.

The positions will be rostered in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering. The CEAS is the highest ranked engineering college in the Rocky Mountain time-zone and hosts several nationally ranked departments. The ECEE department includes 2 University Distinguished Professors, 17 Full, 10 Associate, and 12 Assistant Professors. Faculty honors include 15 IEEE Fellows, 2 members of the US National Academy of Engineering, a NSF Presidential Faculty Fellow, and 12 NSF CAREER Award recipients. The department maintains close ties with local industry and national institutes/labs including NIST, NREL, and NOAA.
