Working Hours: Working hours for this position consist of a 7.5 hour period Monday through Friday exclusive of a 1/2 or 1 hour lunch. Specific work hours to be agreed upon by the supervisor and employee prior to the onset of employment.

Summary: Establishes and maintains institutional databases to support institutional research activities, long-range planning and other institutional decision-making needs; provides technical assistance to other departments in their research activities; directs the collection and dissemination of data to external agencies; provides technical support around grant development activities; conducts special projects as directed by the Dean of Assessment, Research and Planning.

Education and/or Experience:  Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with upper division coursework in statistical and research techniques, and advanced database querying skills using SQL (structured query language),  Advanced skill and experience with Statistical, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software required. Three (3) years’ experience in statistical research, database administration, strategic planning or a related field is required. 

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced database querying skills using SQL (structured query language), and have advanced knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and Statistical software.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
