The University of Virginia Medical Center is seeking an IT Security Analyst 2 to join the Information Security team. The Security Analyst will maintain application accesses for Information Systems supported by Computing Services, as well as maintain data security tables and files for control access to production and test applications.

Duties Include:

  • Maintains data security tables and files for control access to production and test applications.
  • Reviews customer access to computerized applications.
  • Provides customer support reconciling access issues both on the job and scheduled on-call.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience

Epic Security Certification is highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Position Compensation Range: $23.54 - $37.66 Hourly
