The Ithaca College School of Business invites applications for a full-time tenure-eligible Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance position to begin August 16, 2020. The successful candidate will join the Department of Finance and International Business faculty in teaching a variety of courses in Finance (e.g., Business Finance, Advanced Business Finance, International Finance) and courses in the investment field with an emphasis on students investing real money, and take on other responsibilities as assigned.

Position/Job Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in Finance or related field such as Financial Economics (preferably from an AACSB accredited institution) is required; ABD candidates at final stages with teaching experience and scholarly productivity may be considered. Potential of scholarly publications in the field of finance is expected. Teaching excellence and teaching experience in corporate finance, international finance and other areas in finance, supported by positive student evaluations, is highly desirable. Preference is given to candidates who have a record of successful college teaching and who are committed to professional preparation within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education.
