Tenure-track position beginning August 2020.
Teach introductory and upper-level courses in biology, wildlife biology, and conservation biology. Conduct research, pursue external funding, and advise student research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Advise students in our Wildlife and Conservation Biology program, which includes tracks in Wildlife Biology, Conservation Biology, Conservation Law Enforcement, Zoological Conservation, and Conservation Education and Interpretation.Minimum Education Requirements
Ph.D. in Wildlife Biology, Conservation Biology, Biology or a closely related discipline, with postdoctoral teaching or research experience.Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
Candidates must be able to teach courses in General Biology (majors and non-majors) plus introductory and upper-level courses in biology, wildlife biology, and conservation biology. Candidates must demonstrate research potential in wildlife biology as evidenced by recent peer-reviewed publications, grants, and/or other scholarly activities. Candidates must have ability to mentor undergraduate and master’s research students.Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications
