Please note that this position is a Night shift and Weekend coverage

Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service. Serves as a technical resource for customers, other staff. Adheres to all safety policies.

Depending on experience of the selected candidate, the incumbent will be hired at the CLS or CLS Specialist level.

• Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).

• Two years of applicable clinical laboratory experience. Less than two years experience qualifies as CLS level; two years of experience qualifies as CLS Specialist.

• Experience in a lab environment which may have possible exposure to biological, chemical, and radioactive hazards.

• A Bachelor's Degree.

• Hematology and/or Chemistry experience.

• California License.

• Ability to work variable shifts, variable work locations, holidays, weekends, and overtime when required.

• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
