The Student and Academic Services Team seeks a Student Financial Services Director and University Bursar to provide strategic management of the university's student financial services and programs. This includes the billing and collections of >$1billion in student accounts receivables including tuition fees, financial aid, housing, meal plans and various other student fees; managing student loan receivables and collections, which is approximately 10k borrowers for over $82 million; and leading the campus financial literacy program for all students.
Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for Student and Academic Services and University Registrar, the Director/Bursar partners with senior management to visualize and develop long-range plans, financial strategy and policy. The Director/Bursar leads the Student Financial Services staff, manages the programs administered by the office and ensures compliance with rules and regulations that govern federal, state and institutional student aid programs, privacy of data, taxation collection and banking regulations.
