Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary

This position is responsible for processing travel authorizations, training registrations and reminders, QuickBooks support and monthly reconciliation reports, equipment inventory and surplus, copier maintenance, and payment request approver. It provides administrative support to the Agriculture & Natural Resources (ANR) and Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS) Program Development Coordinators and assists other district personnel on an as needed basis.
It must work effectively without immediate supervision and be able to work as a member of the SW District Cooperative Extension team.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Be able to read, write legibly, and communicate clearly both in person and on the telephone. Working knowledge of Microsoft office. Ability to learn various software in different work areas within the SWD office suite and apply that information. Be able to multi-task efficiently while maintaining professional composure in dealing with District Office staff, University personnel, County faculty and staff and vendors. Complete projects in an efficient and timely manner.
*A working knowledge of Quickbooks.

Spend majority of time working at a desk. Standing, sitting, repetitive motion and lift and carry up to 50 lbs, but not excessive for this position

Responsible for processing travel authorizations, training registrations, training reminders, payment request approvals, receipt of county monthly minutes, check out of district equipment/displays, and managing the poster printing account.
