Job Summary:

 

Position Summary:
Responsible for providing faculty, staff and student support in theareas of instructional design, instructional technology, and distributedlearning. This position plays a pivotal role in the accreditation of thePhysician Assistant program and consulting with faculty regarding the use of moderninstructional pedagogies, including the use of educational technologies ininstruction. This position will serveas a liaison among faculty, staff, and students at Oklahoma State University Centerfor Health Sciences (OSU- CHS).

Education & Experience

 

Position Qualifications:

 

Required:
-Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
-Two (2) years of related professional experience in instructional designand training in higher education.

Must have experience assisting faculty in higher education withinstructional design principles, instructional technology applications, orsimilar. Must have the ability to learn (as well as teach others to use) newmultimedia or digital technology tools.

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, multi-tasker with excellentpeople skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and inproducing written materials for educational content and/or training andtechnical instructions.

Excellent comfort working in the PC environment, including excellent technicalskills in new versions of computer software including MS Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint) and other presentation or multimedia software (Adobe, Flash, etc.);video and/or audio editing experience; image and graphic manipulation/editing(Photoshop) experience; online course management experience

Preferred:
-Master's Degree
-Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience preferred
