Governors State University seeks applications to provide technical support to the university web systems. The position maintains the enterprise information systems that support the University’s web functions, including main website, internal portal, calendaring, and document imaging.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Progressively more responsible work experience in Information Technology (IT)-related profession in the following areas totaling three (3) years:
• Expertise in computer technology or networking
• Proficiency in website development, management, and maintenance
• Working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems
• Working knowledge of, and skills in, any combination of web-related tools, coding, and software such as:
– CMS (content management system)
– ASP and ASPX
– HTML
– XHTML
– XML/XSLT/XSLT-FO
– .NET
– MS Visual Studio
– CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
– JavaScript
– Adobe Suite
– Microsoft Office
– SharePoint
– Web Metrics
– Document Management

OR
60 semesters hours in Information Technology, IT Management or a closely related field* AND progressively more responsible work experience in Information Technology (IT)-related profession in the following areas totaling two (2) years:
• Expertise in computer technology and networking
• Proficiency in website development, management, and maintenance
• Working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems
• Working knowledge of, and skills in, any combination of web-related tools, coding, and software such as:
– CMS (content management system)
– ASP and ASPX
– HTML
– XHTML
– XML/XSLT/XSLT-FO
– .NET
– MS Visual Studio
– CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
– JavaScript

– Microsoft Office
