Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to begin Fall 2020. The department is especially interested in applicants with astrong record of scholarship and teaching in Criminology, Sociology of Law, orSociolegal Studies. Priority will be given to applicants who use and can teachquantitative methods and statistics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Sociologyor a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. 

CU Denver is a public urban research university located inthe heart of Denver that is classified by Carnegie as a Research 1 institution.We are a productive faculty that provides both undergraduate and MA studentswith hands-on learning experiences through internship and researchopportunities. The regular teaching load is 2 courses per semester, which maybe reduced for an initial period, and faculty have access to excellentresources to support research. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Sociology or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
