Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

Teach courses in Economics and Business Analysis at the undergraduate (BBA) and graduate (MBA) level. Teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Candidates must have a commitment to research which leads to refereed publications for this tenure-track position. Service to the University and the profession is also expected.

Educational Requirements for the Position

Ph.D. (or ABD with an anticipated completion date before Fall 2020) in Economics or related field.

Experience Required for the Position

Candidates should be strongly committed to quality teaching, and exhibit a strong potential for successful research and peer-reviewed publications. Although candidates with specialization in any field of economics will be considered, special consideration will be given to those with at least one of the following fields: Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, International Trade, Microeconomics, Labor Economics, Health Economics, Development Economics, Applied Economics, Energy Economics.

Other Requirements for the Position

Evidence of teaching experience and scholarly research in any field of applied/empirical economics.
