The Capital Region Campus at Clarkson University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Mechanical Engineering Program (Turbine). Candidates must have experience teaching university-level courses in mechanical engineering particularly in areas involving turbine engineering and combustion fundamentals. The ideal candidate will also have interdisciplinary engineering experience involving turbine thermodynamic cycles, design, maintenance, and operations as well as combustion processes and their relation to turbines. The successful candidate is expected to have a passion for technical education.Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Masters degree in area of interest, established higher education experience.Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Professional experience with turbine engineering research, design, operations, or maintenance and technical knowledge of combustion processes and applications. Previous training experience is highly desired.Physical Demands
