POSITION: Twelve-month, full time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track position.
Research Assistant Professor
The Family Resiliency Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks a Research Assistant Professor to provide consultation and assistance in performing advanced analysis of complex data sets, demonstrate knowledge of complex research design including, but not limited to, longitudinal research design, and to become part of an interdisciplinary team focused on predictors of nutritional health in the first five years of life. The successful candidate will have experience working on interdisciplinary teams, be able to conceptualize and conduct analysis of complex multi-factorial datasets, and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral associates. The individual will have the ability to prepare and submit independent research grants through the Family Resiliency Center and collaborate with other Family Resiliency Center investigators. The Family Resiliency Center is an interdisciplinary research, education, and outreach center housed in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies and College of Agricultural and Consumer Sciences. It currently supports 30 affiliates across two campuses and 11 disciplinary units. More information may be found here http://familyresiliency.illinois.edu/#. This position will be reappointed annually dependent on funding and programmatic needs of the department.

A Ph.D. in human development and family studies, developmental psychology, nutritional sciences, social psychology, epidemiology, community health, or affiliated fields is required. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The position is available immediately following the application date.
