The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry invites applications for two full-time Prosthodontics faculty member in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. These faculty members will have a fixed-term or tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate level. The selected candidates will provide didactic and clinical instruction as well as evaluation of pre-doctoral dental students in removable and fixed prosthodontics, implants, and esthetic dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative dentistry. These positions offer outstanding opportunities for intramural practice, scholarly activities, continuing education and professional service. Successful candidates should have the ability to establish a robust intramural practice with the UNC Adams School of Dentistry’s Dental Faculty Practice.

Educational Requirements

DDS or equivalent degree and certificate from a post-graduate prosthodontic program, preferably CODA-accredited.

Qualifications and Experience

Excellent clinical credentials, teaching, scholarly activity and dental implant experience are required. This person should have experience in organizational and interpersonal skills, leadership, and a commitment to diversity, inclusivity and collegiality. Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics or Board Eligibility is preferred.
