This individual will be expected to uphold and exemplify the operating practices and mission of the Foundation.
Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing Foundation and some college-sponsored events including board meetings, annual donor recognition luncheons/dinners/receptions, regional prospecting and stewardship events and other advancement-related or internal events as assigned. Assist with logistical arrangements such as equipment rental, audio-visual and photography.
Use CRM and Publisher to format, print and assemble event nametags. Prepare appropriate disbursements for payments to vendors, venues, etc., for Event Manager/Foundation Director of Special Events’ approval. Assist Event Manager/Foundation Director of Special Events with preparation for Women for FSU executive committee meetings, copying meeting materials, requesting IS tickets, setting up meetings, etc.. Run errands in preparation for events. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Receive, record and track RSVPs using the Foundation’s database – CRM.
Record monthly expenses in budget Excel workbook for each department fund.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), or equivalent software.
A self-starter, comfortable working independently.
Excellent communication skills to include effective writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
A valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License, or the ability to obtain.
