Please Note: The classification and salary range for this position are currently under review. The candidate will be placed at a flat rate per/hr in accordance with the methodology as defined in the collective bargaining agreement. The proposed title code for this position (8990 Radlg Tchno Sr PD) is covered under the Patient Care Technical Unit Contract (EX). Minimum Requirements Licensure by State of California, Department of Health Services, as Certified Radiologic Technologist.
Registered for membership in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Graduate of radiology technology training program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training.
Skill in using the standard fixed and mobile x-ray imaging equipment.
Oral and written communication skills to collect and clearly convey information to physicians, staff, patients and the public, using correct vocabulary, grammar and tact.
Ability to work as part of a team, and ability to establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, supervisors, doctors, peers and public.
Skill in operating radiographic film processor.
Ability to assess radiographic film quality.
Active Basic Life Support Provider card for CPR
