To provide operational support to the Human Services & Hospitality Division and supervise front desk student assignments.

Responsibilities & Duties:
•Purchasing-Request and approve items for purchase and complete purchase order process including receipt and account verification. Maintain workbooks to keep accounts payable current.
•Inventory Management-Inventory control, manage purchases and audits, ensure cost effective supplies are on hand to meet curriculum goals.
•Salon Reception Management-Provide customer service to clients, problem solving, payments received (credit cards), train student staff on software, organize and assist with community programs such as Pamper Camps.
•Registration-Coordinate and complete division process for enrollment. Register new and returning students upon completion of advising and grade standing verification. Schedule and conduct tours, assist in recruitment activities on and off campus.
•Budget-Assist with department budget planning, coordination, and requests. Maintain financial records and procedures, and track expenses. Request budget transfers as needed.
•Other Duties-Maintain student records compliant with TDLR, NCTC, and FERPA requirements. Report student and school information as required by TDLR throughout the year and at annual inspections. Provide administrative and clerical support to faculty and adjuncts with course materials. Assist with advisory committee meetings in the areas of research, documentation, scheduling and budgeting.

Required Education

Associate Degree and 3+ years related experience required.

Bachelor Degree preferred.

Required Skills & Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office; keyboarding skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
Professionalism and customer service skills. Ability to travel to other campuses. Knowledgeable in vendor sourcing practices; experience in office administrator responsibilities, systems and practices.

Preferred Skills & AbilitiesRequired Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional role.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge in Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements. Experience in purchasing, registration in a college setting.
