Position Description:
As part of Alumni Affairs, the Regional Network Team works with over 80 alumni networks around the world to ensure alumni are connected to UCLA no matter their distance from campus. We work closely with alumni leaders to create and develop programming that engages alumni in their local communities, such as networking events, game watches, career programs, and cultural and educational events. The Bruin Recruitment team works in collaboration with Undergraduate Admissions to recruit and train alumni volunteers to represent UCLA at a variety of events throughout the year from college fairs to Bruin Bound events as part of UCLA's goal to attract the best and brightest students. Bruin Recruitment and the Regional Network Team work closely with regional networks alumni leaders to plan to implement over 60 New Bruin Send-off events every summer that bring together alumni, parents, and students to celebrate incoming students.

The Program Coordinator will serve in an integral role by providing administrative support for all Regional and Bruin Recruitment programs and network events. This individual will perform duties that include but are not limited to; meeting preparation and logistics, data collection and data maintenance, event planning, computer support for networks, and support to the professional staff and volunteers of UCLA Alumni Affairs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and executing event logistics, and organizing and monitoring the paper and computer work flow of various projects. This individual will also handle public contact on the telephone and in person to provide service to student and alumni clients, and other duties and project support as needed. In addition, the Program Coordinator will assist in the creating, writing and editing of event as well as perform other duties and project/program support as needed.
