General Description / Primary PurposeThe School of Engineering at the University of North Florida (UNF) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Electrical Engineering at the Assistant Professor level, commencing in August 2020. An earned Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, or other closely related field, with a specialization in signal processing is required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in Biomedical Signal Processing, including but not limited to: Neuroengineering, Biomedical Optics, Medical Imaging, mHealth, Rehabilitation Engineering, and Physical Human-Machine interaction. A commitment to excellence in teaching and research will be expected of the successful candidate, along with a willingness to learn. Collegiality, active service and participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the school, college and university are also expected.
