The Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, at the University of Washington, invites applications for a non-tenure faculty position at the rank of Senior Lecturer, Part-Time (50% FTE, 9-month appointment).

This position focuses on executive leadership and management, and has a teaching load of three regularly scheduled courses per year in our Master’s of Public Administration program beginning in Autumn 2019, for a total of three years. There are potential additional responsibilities, including developing client-based capstone projects and developing executive education curriculum. The successful candidate will possess the ability to engage in high-quality teaching and should have extensive senior-level leadership and management experience in the public and nonprofit sectors. A deep understanding of the issues facing Washington state nonprofits and public agencies, plus extensive experience and contacts in the local and regional area will be welcomed, as well as prior experience in an academic higher-education setting.

MINIMUM: A terminal degree (e.g., a PhD or JD) or a master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
