Description:

The Division of Bioethics and Palliative Care, Department of Pediatrics, at the University of Washington is recruiting a full time Assistant Professor without tenure (commensurate with experience and qualifications) on the clinician-educator track. This position would be multi-year appointments over a 12-month service period.

Responsibilities will include clinical service in the palliative care program, with related scholarship activities working with the other Center/Division faculty on collaborative research projects and/or educational efforts.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Anticipated start date is Winter 2019.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have an MD (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
