Description:

The University of Washington, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine are accepting applications for up to three Academic Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians at the Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Full Clinical Professor level. Positions may be full-time or part-time.

Position duties will include clinical care and teaching, as well as active participation in divisional activities. There is tremendous opportunity and support for academic growth and career development, leadership and educational endeavors at all levels. This individual will join a collegial academic Emergency Medicine Division, which, along with a large group of clinical pediatric physicians and an accredited PEM fellowship, cares for approximately 50,000 patients per year in a state of the art Emergency Department. Participation in high quality community Emergency Medicine practices will likely be part of these new positions.

The ED administrative team also supervises care at multiple hospital owned pediatric urgent cares in the region. The Division focuses on quality of care, continuous process improvement, safety, clinical standardization, education, research and academic success. All University of Washington faculty members engage in teaching and clinical service.


Qualifications:

Applicants must have an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
