Description:

The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking a full time physician for a Hospitalist and/or Nocturnist position at the UW Medical Center. Successful candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in general cardiology.

The successful applicant will be appointed to the full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Clinical Instructor (Job Class Code: 10168) or Clinical Assistant Professor (Job Class Code: 10167) level without tenure due to funding, commensurate with qualifications. This is a 12 month, annual appointment.

University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. The position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in general cardiology. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: MD degree or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible in internal medicine or cardiovascular diseases or foreign equivalent. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
