The University of Washington Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology is recruiting for two full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the Clinical Instructor (JCC 0168), Clinical Assistant Professor (JCC 0167), Clinical Associate Professor (JCC 0166), or Clinical Professor (JCC 0165) level (non-tenured). These positions will be based at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) at the Roosevelt Dermatology Clinic and/or at the UWMC Eastside Specialties Clinic in Bellevue. These positions have a 12 month service period, and are reappointed on an annual basis. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
Qualifications:
Requirements include an MD degree or foreign equivalent and certification by the American Board of Dermatology or foreign equivalent. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The position duties include patient care and teaching at UWMC and affiliated sites. The applicant must be excellent clinically and committed to clinical teaching of medical students, dermatology and medicine residents.
