The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics at Seattle Children's Hospital is recruiting for an Assistant or Associate Professor (without tenure due to funding, 12-month service period position) on the Clinician-Educator pathway. Responsibilities of the Craniofacial pediatrician will include direct patient care in an interdisciplinary clinic, care coordination, intake clinic for new patients and on call coverage of craniofacial medicine inpatients. Although this pediatrician will focus primarily on clinical activity, the specific balance of clinical work, academic time and salary will be tailored to the interests and experience of the applicant. Pediatric geneticists are welcome to apply. Anticipated start date is for Fall 2019.
MD, DO or foreign equivalent and board certification or eligibility (or foreign equivalent) in Pediatrics.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
