Description:

The Division of Science and Mathematics at the University of Washington Tacoma is hiring a temporary full-time lecturer in Biology for the 2019-20 academic year. This is a nine-month non-renewable position beginning mid-September 2019 that requires teaching six courses over three quarters and is contingent on funding. This is also a non-tenure track position.


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will teach sections of our introductory biology sequence as well as upper-level human physiology courses and is expected to engage with culturally diverse populations in higher education, integrate evidence-based and inclusive pedagogical techniques and technologies, and maintain high expectations for student learning.

Compensation is competitive with comparable positions and includes health insurance and retirement benefits.
