Faculty, Course Coordinator/Course Chair
The MEDEX Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington seeks PA faculty members at its four training sites in Seattle, Tacoma and Spokane, WA and Anchorage, AK. This is a 12-month non-tenure track position as a lecturer. There are openings for full-time and/or part-time positions. Faculty duties include teaching, developing syllabi, lectures and evaluation instruments, coordinating or chairing at least one course, providing instruction in assigned didactic courses, advising and evaluating students, working collaboratively with other faculty members, medical director, staff and invited guest lecturers, admissions work and scholarly activity. Faculty assist in all aspects of the program including recruitment and the development, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum associated with the program.

Qualifications:
Teaching experience in either a classroom or clinical setting is required. A bachelor's degree is required, master's degree preferred. Current NCCPA certification or equivalent and two years of clinical experience are required. Faculty rank will be lecturer or senior lecturer. Rank to be determined by qualifications.
