Responsible for effective district-wide leadership for the process and documentation for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation. Collaborates with a broad array of staff and faculty to develop, execute, and evaluate Institutional Effective Plans (IEPs). Reports to the District Director Institutional Effectiveness, Accreditation and Planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Supervises and facilitates institutional effectiveness process to include IEP (e.g. WEAVE or other appropriate software) training and supporting materials
•Responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the institutional effectiveness plan (IEP) process
•Participates and coordinates with professional development related to the QEP topic and provides related professional development for TCC faculty and staff
•Develops and manages the QEP budget and implementation timelines
•Implements QEP initiatives and objectives
•Performs administrative activities, including setting and monitoring budgets and the preparation of special and periodic reports, including the QEP Impact Report
•Trains and supports faculty and staff with the design and development of meaningful and measurable IEPs
•Builds and maintains strong working relationships with campus and district departments across the College to comply with IEP documentation for continuous improvement
•Supervises the workflow of the Institutional Effectiveness Plan (IEP) process and auditing of progress and quality of plans
•Supervises the schedule/calendar for IEP development and closure
•Supervises the use of accreditation software and associated training
•Supervises updates to TCCD’s accreditation website and departmental intranet pages
•Supervise activities necessary to maintain or pursue accreditation status for the college and program-specific accreditations
•Provides guidance on developing appropriate goals, targets, and measurements
•Assists with accessing/analyzing data reports to create relevant action plans
•Assists faculty and staff with closing the loop and provides feedback to assist with documenting continuous improvement
•Prepares reports identifying status of departments within the IEP cycle
•Prepares reports summarizing data and analyses of IEP results
•Maintains historical files for SACSCOC review
•Supports the development of prospectuses through research, writing, and editing and preparation for submission to SACSCOC
•Assesses the desired outcomes outlined in the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and other duties to comply with SACSCOC, THECB, and other accreditation requirements
•Participates on Councils, Task Forces and other TCC committees, as assigned
•Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
•Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
•Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
•Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

•Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
•Two (2) years of experience in higher education or related experience
•Understanding of state and federal requirements applicable to higher education

Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures

•Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited college or university
•Knowledge and understanding of the community college
•Experience with accreditation processes
•Experience editing and proofreading, with the ability to produce high-quality materials, while adhering to multiple deadlines
•Project management skills

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

•Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Demonstrated track record of collaboration, cooperation, and service across departments
