Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Bookkeeper & Financial Processor, Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide assistance for the University Galleries processing of financial functions to pay vendors, independent contractors through Workday, the University’s financial planning, processing and accounting computer platform.
  • Assist the Galleries in the precisely following protocols and procedures for processing Purchasing Card (credit card) expenses.
  • Assist the director in allocating expenses according to pre-established budgets. Answer office telephone and occasionally provide receptionist functions.
  • Provide some office management functions including procuring office supplies, ordering exhibition materials and supplies, light supervision of student employees, work orders for facilities requests, shipping and mailing, and other duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and three years of secretarial or office/clerical assistant experience required.

Experience with MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. preferred.

Basic accounting skills preferred.
