The University of Virginia, School of Nursing invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor, tenure track position, with a focus in Health Disparities and/or Health Equity Research with expertise in Community-Based Participatory Research, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, Data Science, and Symptom Science from persons who want to join one of the nation's top nursing programs and who have strong evidence of an initially funded program of research. Responsibilities will include research, teaching, and service. Candidates will be expected to teach professional nursing courses to undergraduate and graduate students across a broad range of clinical practice, research, and leadership courses. Service expectations include participating in curriculum and course design committees.

PhD in nursing or related field is required by the start date of the appointment. Applicants must possess a clear, emerging program of research and an initial track record of funding (example: intramural, NRSA, post-doc funding). Postdoctoral training is highly desirable. Previous experience teaching is essential. Licensure in Virginia by the start date of the position is required.
