The position is a full time, benefits eligible position available for a three year term and may be extended based on performance and funding. The start date is flexible, with a preferred start in October 2019.

Occasional travel and extended hours, including weekends may be required.

Programming and Support: The Assistant Director will create, manage, and support Access, Diversity and Inclusion (ADI) student enhancement and success programs, including but not limited to conferences, mentorship programs, workshops, trainings and co-sponsorship of events with the Graduate School’s affinity groups, faculty and other campus partners.

Recruitment Efforts: The position will support efforts to identify and engage prospective students to apply to graduate programs. They will organize recruiting efforts and host prospective students on campus. The position will support the recruitment of students who may be participants in existing national pipeline programs (such as Mellon Mays, McNair, and Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation); institutional initiatives including bridge, pre-doctoral, and post-baccalaureate programs; or studying at minority serving institutions, women's colleges, and public universities.
