Duties of a Lead Programmer Analyst in the Radiology/Imaging Department may include the following but are not limited to:

This position is for a PACS/RIS Analyst.   This position will work with a team to oversee the operation, security, integration, maintenance and support of the hospital’s PACS and RIS systems as well as other Radiology information systems.  This position will provide oncall support as needed.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications
•A.A.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent Information Systems Certificate
•Healthcare Systems application support experience
•SQL or database knowledge
•The candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent diagnostic skills are essential for this job.
•The candidate must be detail oriented, and have strong analytical and organizational skills
•Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential. 

 
Preferred Qualifications
•Clinical Radiology knowledge
•Experience supporting Diagnostic Image Management Systems
•Project experience in healthcare applications
•Experience with Radiology and Cardiology systems and/or processes
•Experience with vendor management
•1 year image workflow management
•PACS support experience and proficiency with the DICOM protocol
•HL7 knowledge
•Tableau Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree
