Description:

The Robotics Consortium at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels. Outstanding candidates in all areas of Robotics will be considered.

The current robotics faculty includes representatives from several departments who work to advance fundamental scientific and engineering knowledge, as well as on numerous applications including social, rehabilitation, vehicles, drilling, manufacturing, space, nuclear, and defense. The group is scheduled to begin occupying space in a custom-renovated historic building at the center of campus starting in the spring of 2020.


Qualifications:

Tenure-track positions require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant area at the time of employment. Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program, to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, and to supervise students in research.
